Jason's Oven Fried Pork Steaks

Jason's Oven Fried Pork Steaks

I have another hit on my hands! The whole family gobbled these Yummy Pork steaks down!

The one drawback to this recipe is that it required a breading station and breading stations are MESSY! My best advice is clean as you go!

Ingredients:

4lbs Pork Steaks - cut into two pieces and trimmed of excessive fat (you got to leave some otherwise they would be almost good for you.... can't have that can we)!

Breading Station 1:

1 cup of flour

Breading Station 2:

5 Medium sized eggs
4 tablespoons honey mustard salad dressing

*Whisk together until smooth*

Breading Station 3:

1 Whole pack of saltines crushed medium to fine consistency
3/4cup Dried potato flakes
2tbsps. Dried minced onion flakes
1tbsp. Dried parsley
1 1/2tsps. Smoked Spanish Paprika
1tsp. Salt
1tsp. Pepper
1tsp. Garlic Powder

*hand toss all ingredients for Station 3 until well mixed.

Preheat oven to 350degrees and place rack in center. Spray 2 baking sheets with non-stick cooking spray. Cut the Pork steaks in half and trim of excess fat. Coat pork steak with flour, then dip in egg and then coat well with seasoned cracker crumb mix. Lay on baking sheet and repeat until all steaks are done.

Place on center oven rack and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and flip the steaks. Increase heat to 425degrees and bake for another 20 minutes. Remove from oven, serve and ENJOY!

I served with green beans, Cream style corn, bread and butter and Garlic roasted red potatoes.
